In times of crisis Americans come together. Our inherent goodness rises to the surface as we join together with one purpose, helping one another regardless of our differences.
With reflection on this 9/11 anniversary, we learned some events change you forever, creating a paradigm shift in how you see the world, creating a change in how you live your life, replacing your old life with something new.
If you are a caregiver you know it doesn’t take a national crisis for an event to change you forever, altering the way you see the world and how you live your life. Some choose the path of caregiver, other have it thrust upon them. Whether you have chosen the role or not, caregiving can be both rewarding and highly stressful. We have all heard it, in case of emergency put your oxygen mask on first. Self-care, self-preservation must come first if you are to effectively care for others.
At Work Well Concepts we have a 3 Steps to Wellbeing program dedicated to self-care. In Step 1 we explore what you need most. We create a wellness vision which helps focus your priorities and moves you into action. In Step 2 we experiment with taking action by uncovering your internal strengths and using them to build confidence, increase motivation and overcome resistance. In Step 3 you evolve into living healthy habits, for life.
